Privacy

This site has no advertising, visitor analytics, or tracking cookies in its application code. The rink map does not request your device’s location. Filters are kept in the current page and are not saved to a visitor profile.

Map images

The map loads automatically. CARTO supplies its background images and receives your IP address, browser request information, the site’s domain, and the map tiles requested as you pan and zoom. These tiles reveal the area you are viewing, not your device’s GPS location. See CARTO’s privacy information.

Hosting and city data

Cloudflare hosts this site and processes connection information such as IP addresses and request URLs to deliver and protect it. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Toronto’s public rink data is fetched through this site. The data service does not forward your cookies, IP address, or browser headers to the City. It temporarily holds IP addresses in server memory for up to a minute to limit repeated requests; it does not write them to application logs or persistent storage. Hosting-provider processing is separate.

Links to Toronto and other websites take you to those services, which have their own privacy practices.
